Teaching is an integral part of my creative life. I am continually inspired by my students and excited to explore the great, mysterious world of music and string playing with them.
I teach students from 4 - 85. Students are welcome to start at any age, and to discover how to read music as they learn to play an instrument. No previous music instruction is required at any age.
I have been teaching since I was 16, and still love to do it. I have taught courses in Early Childhood Education Music for Seneca College, coached chamber music at York University, taught at Algoma College, and for 14 years I taught music at the High School level for the York Region District School Board.
I am also the director of the Blue Bridge Festival Youth Orchestra. I write children’s story-operas – and run integrated arts workshops all over the province. I am an experienced clinician and music teacher – and I look forward to teaching you or your child, or both!
An encouraging and loving teacher, she gave me opportunities to grow into a musicianRyan Ip, professional musician – violinist, composer, teacher, M.A. Music, Western
Ms. Muller is a fantastic quartets coach, not only paying attention to musical development, but also individual progress in growing up with various musical styles. She pays attention to details while suggesting doing hands-on demonstrations of methods to get to professional performance level in playing.

Ms. Muller is an experienced and passionate teacher that engages students in a way that will make them want to keep coming back for more lessons
Leo Yeung, violinist, university student
I am proud to say I am a student of Ms. Muller. Over the past 5 years, I learned more than how to play an instrument. I learned musicianship, gained wonderful performance opportunities and experiences, and had tons of fun making music a part of my life.David Liu, violinist, university student
I've learned cello with Ms. Muller for 4 years, and through her unique teaching style, I've learned more than I could ever imagine. What I love about her teaching style is that she often gets students to understand and develop a musical sense, before progressing with technicality, and this is a much more effective way to build true musicianship.Jeffrey Zhang, cellist, university student
